Duckbutter InterGalactic Cartage & Pandering was founded by two cousins, Franklin P. Duckbutter of the USA and P. Randall Duckbutter of the UK. They are the last surviving descendants of the famous Duke de Baisse du Beurre-Caneton, the gastronomic hero of the French Revolution.

The two cousins made their initial fortune selling re-sealable plastic storage bags during the 1960’s. Perfect for storing herbs and spices, the bags quickly caught on with college-aged baby boomers. This cash windfall was quickly re-invested in the fashion business where the cousins patented a fabric coloring process called Tie-Dye.
They sold the tie-dye patents during the 1970’s and throughout the 1980’s invested the proceeds in Texas and Oklahoma wildcat drilling operations in partnership with a Saudi prep school chum, Sheik Achmed Ali Ben Dover. By the end of the 1980’s the two cousins moved into the electronics business, where they funded development of a series of micro-chips that cause sudden inexplicable failure in everyday devices. This business exploded as the new chips were incorporated into virtually every electronic device made on the planet.
The Duckbutter boys sold the rights to the chips in 1991 and reinvested in the new field of genetic engineering. In 1994 they perfected a human cloning process, focusing their work on creating clones with no brains. These brainless beings were nicknamed Twits and were designed to provide spare bodies (or body parts) to aging baby-boomers trying to hold onto their youth. In an unfortunate lab accident an entire crop of Twits escaped from the lab and established themselves in the general population, securing careers in public service, Congress and the television industry.
In 2001 the Duckbutter boys sold their cloning processes to a theme park conglomerate and founded DuckButter InterGalactic for the purpose of developing a time travel device capable of sending them into the past to erase any records of their identities and existence. The hydrogen-fusion propulsion engines and magnetic field generators that power all DuckButter InterGalactic cargo ships were a by-product of this time travel technology.
Having successfully erased any evidence of their existence the Duckbutter Boys dedicated DuckButter InterGalactic to transporting cargo and people throughout known space, as well as providing support services to human colonies within known space. And we’ve been known to help out aliens from time to time if there’s a buck to be made.
